Automated Gate systems by Metafence act as a significant deterrent to potential crime and vandalism by providing a controlled access solution to a whole host of premises, locations and environments.

Metafence offer a bespoke service from design, manufacture and installation of automatic gates and barriers either forming part of a total boundary upgrade project or as an individual installation of its own, perhaps to match to our client's existing fencing. Automation of existing manual gates is potentially possible subject to a satisfactory survey.

Sliding, Swing, Bi-fold, Vehicle and Pedestrian gate options can be utilised, tailored and combined with a vast range of access control options to suite exact site requirements and budget.

All Metafence automatic gates and barriers are BSEN 12453:2000 safety compliant.

Residential Automatic (Electric) Gates

Domestic automated gates in a variety of softwoods, hardwoods or ornate metal designs can be supplied for selection during the quotation stage of a project allowing Metafence to create the perfect gate for our clients. A total package including a wide range of access control solutions, brick piers and any fencing requirements can be offered and professionally installed by our in-house engineers allowing our clients a one-stop approach to the whole project.

Gates for Schools & Education

Metafence are experienced in working with and understanding the problems and challenges faced by schools when it comes to safeguarding children and premises. Integration of Metafence automated and access controlled gates within a schools physical security measures can give total control over visitors access and potential movements around the site whether on foot or by vehicle.

We are happy to advise whether integration to any existing PC Managed access control system that may already be employed by the school, is possible during survey.

Our dedicated team of DBS checked engineers can ensure the continued safe and correct future operation of our systems through a planned preventative maintenance program following the initial installation.

Rising Barriers

Automatic Rising Arm Barriers supplied and installed by Metafence, are designed to offer long term reliability, durability and efficient operation. They incorporate an integral inverter driven motor and gearbox ensuring a smooth and consistent operation using single phase power.

Whether the application is residential or commercial a Metafence automated barrier will offer security and a reliable control and flow of traffic.

If a larger span barrier is required, Metafence are able to offer heavy duty versions capable of raising and lowering a pole length of up to 9 metres.

All of Metafence automated products can utilise existing site access control systems or a new purpose designed system to suit exact client requirements, whether it be a simple hand held transmitter, intercom communication or a more complex PC managed access control system.*

Metafence are able to offer a planned preventative maintenance program of visits to ensure continued safe and correct operation of all products.
